3dsmax was used for visual effects for Roland Emmerich's 'The Day After Tomorrow'. The team at Dreamscape also used Character Studio, Afterburn and Brazil r/s for achieving some of the CG effects sequences in the movie. Discreet tools such as Inferno, Flame and Combustion were also used by other production houses handling VFX shots.
