Joe Gunn is the on-staff 3d animation
and visual effects specialist at Digital Pictures in Minneapolis.
Joe has been certified by Discreet to train individuals, groups and
entire companies on 3DS Max
and Combustion.
Joe is not only a technician but an artist as well. Some of his industry experience
includes commercial and print design, post production and design/visulaization
projects here in the
Twin Cities.
Greetings max junkies! I just wanted to send out a rant about the MUG in general. We've been able to have a couple of exclusive interviews for our group which has been great. The most recent one has been posted today, Nick Hansen of Fischer Edit. Please continue to watch for more as we expand and grow. Let's get down to business. We need content people! Since the revision of our website we have received a lot of exposure and are getting a very large hit rate. We've noticed that not just the twin cities are cruising our local user group site but many from around the globe. I'm asking for members to start the participation to continue are growth and success. We need to populate the links, tutorials, textures, scripts, ect....Where do you go to find your resources? Let's add them to our little community here in MN! If you want to give yourself or your company shameless promotions, send me an email and we'll add you to the "Spotlight". Remember Discreet is watching... Also, I thank those who have posted to the forum and use it daily. We still need everyone to register and use our forum which is going to be revised here very soon.
